The GrandView residence house is located in Mar Vista two blocks away from the PCH Treatment Center clinic – a short walk through a quiet residential neighborhood. The residence house follows a "sober-living" model, where Clients live as a family, sharing meals and time together in a healing milieu. There are frequent group outings, and meals are provided or Clients are free to eat out or cook for themselves. The open structure of the residence allows Clients to live in a real world setting. Clients are able to function autonomously while they are immersed in treatment. We believe this allows for a more effective transition to the world when they finish their treatment program and need to return to work, school or family.

Clients truly enjoy the experience at the residence. Some walk to the Mar Vista Recreation Center to play pickup basketball games or tennis. Others enjoy time dining out with their families. A bowling alley and public library are only two blocks away. The PCH Residence House is a place to make friends, live with people who are dealing with similar problems and challenges in life, and work together to promote healing. In this respect, PCH Treatment is very judicious about the Clients we select to stay in the residence. The proper fit is necessary to create the appropriate healing milieu, and we feel this is one to the biggest advantages of our residence.
